Marineland Market: Rules and Guidelines
To ensure a successful and enjoyable experience for everyone, we kindly ask all our vendors to adhere to the following rules and guidelines:
1. Setup and Breakdown Times
Setup: Vendors may begin setting up their booths at 6am on the morning of the market. Early setup is not permitted without prior approval.
Breakdown: Booths must be dismantled by 4pm on the same day. Vendors are responsible for removing all their materials and ensuring their area is clean.
2. Booth Management
Booth Size: Each vendor will be allocated a space of 10’x10’. Please ensure your booth and all displays fit within this area.
Tent and Weight Requirements: If using a tent, vendors must bring at least 20 lbs of weights per tent leg to secure it against strong winds. All items should be secured to prevent them from being blown away.
Display: Keep your booth attractive and tidy. Your display should not obstruct neighboring booths or walkways. Terrain may not be level for displays, please plan accordingly.
Staffing: Booths must be staffed at all times during market hours. If you need to leave temporarily, please ask a neighboring vendor to watch your space.
Conduct: Vendors are expected to behave professionally at all times. Respectful and courteous interactions with customers and fellow vendors are required.
3. Sustainability Practices
Waste Reduction: Vendors are encouraged to use eco-friendly packaging and minimize waste. Please bring a trash bag to manage your waste and recyclables.
Sustainable Products: Products that are environmentally friendly, upcycled, or made from sustainable materials are highly encouraged.
Discouraging Single-Use Items: To maintain our commitment to sustainability, we do not allow the distribution of 'freebies' or single-use items such as plastic items or other non-biodegradable materials.
4. Sales and Transactions
Vendors are responsible for handling their own sales transactions and are encouraged to accept multiple forms of payment.
5. Weather and Cancellations
Weather Policy: The Marineland Market is an outdoor event, subject to weather conditions. We closely monitor the weather forecast and will notify you of any necessary changes or cancellations as early as possible.
Cancellation Policy: In case of inclement weather, a decision regarding cancellation will be communicated as early as possible. Should we need to cancel, you'll have the option to receive a 50% refund of your vendor fee or apply a 100% credit towards a future market.
Vendor Cancellation: If you must cancel your participation, please notify the organizers at least 24 hours in advance.
6. Liability
Vendors are responsible for their own merchandise. The market is not liable for damage, theft, or loss of vendors' property.
7. Feedback and Suggestions
We welcome your feedback and suggestions to improve the market. Please feel free to share your thoughts with the organizers at hello@marinelandmarket.com.
Thank you for being a part of Marineland Market! Together, we can create a wonderful, sustainable, and community-driven event.
